Comment from Stephen Lindop:
ReplyDeleteThis has been a fantastic experience for the Nisku leduc installation team. We had three Rotarians and seven Interact students from Calmar Highschool near Leduc, Alberta.
The kids from the school in Placencia were beside themselves with anticipation and joy. The kindergarten students were vibrating during the opening ceremonies.
It was tons of fun working with Randy Acheson our installer and representative of a partner to the installation, The Emmanuel Foundation which is based in Alberta.
Comment from Rotarian Roger Badiou from Nisku leduc Rotary Club:
ReplyDeleteThis experience has surpassed my expectations. This was my first experience in Belize. From the kids from Calmar school who worked beside us it is encouraging to see the next generation ready to give. The best part was seeing the faces of the children once the playground was open.
What an incredible experience, the kids from Calmar worked real hard to make this happen, special thanks to Randy: our construction suypervisor - without his help it would have taken us a lot longer. Thanks to all the local folks who pitched in to make it a success!!
ReplyDeleteThe kids in Placencia went wild and were so happy!!
"Yeah Rotary"
great job from a fellow Rotarian
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that the local Rotary club is making such an impact outside the local community!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to hearing more about future projects both at home and abroad.
I am so proud of the Rotarians and Interact leaders from District 5370. Amazing job! Thank you - you will never know how this BUILD has changed many lives. I see children with happy faces. What more can we ask for...
